From Nile Reed to Sacred Art
Harvesting the Reed
Papyrus reeds are hand-harvested from the banks of the Nile, following the same process used by ancient Egyptians for millennia.
Weaving the Sheet
Strips are soaked, layered at right angles, and pressed together. No glue — the natural sap binds the fibers as it dries.
Painting by Hand
Skilled artisans trace sacred scenes with mineral pigments mixed with luminous inks that charge in sunlight and glow at night.
